Children & adolescents

Children and adolescents: a phase of great change.

During early childhood, children and then adolescents develop rapidly and face many changes. Falls when learning to walk, trivial injuries while playing and joint changes during growth have repercussions on the musculoskeletal system of children.

Static disorders in children and adolescents, such as scoliosis, are a sign of poor adaptation of the body during growth.

The osteopath, through a set of gentle techniques adapted to each child, will improve spinal and tissue mobility at the origin of these disorders.

The osteopath provides real help to your child or adolescent by correcting the disorders to which he or she is subject and the traumas that he or she has experienced.

Orthodontics and osteopathy.

Between 6 and 12 years old is often the age when children wear braces. The installation of this device can produce stresses which will have an effect on the bones of the skull with possible side effects. Constraints can cause headaches, dizziness, visual disturbances, neck pain and back pain. The intervention of the osteopath makes it possible to limit the appearance of this pain linked to the dental appliance.
